Despite being active in competitive sports, I have always struggled with my weight. My mom brought me to many doctors to see why I kept gaining more weight. I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) which causes weight gain. I finally had a reason for my struggle but I felt utterly defeated.
